Founded in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2003 and now headquartered in The Woodlands, Texas, the company has grown into a nationwide operation with strategically located manufacturing facilities designed to efficiently serve customers coast to coast. Our Products

Building / Standard Wire Mesh

High quality welded wire is built into square grids by welding uniformly. The wires are placed longitudinally and transversely together at specified intervals. The application for all Standard/Building Wire Mesh is for all residential and lightweight commercial concrete reinforcement.

Engineered / Structural Wire Mesh

WMC manufactures Engineered Structural Mesh (ESM) with sizes ranging D4 up to D31 with variable and fixed spacing available. Sheet sizes available up from 12’ - 0” wide to 48’ - 0” long. We have a team of design engineers that can assist and produce CAD drawings and WSM placement drawings. WMC can also provide rebar to ESM conversions and splice calculations.

PC Strand

Uncoated 7 wire strand produced from High Carbon Steel wires that are cold drawn, stranded and then stress relieved. PC Strand wire is placed under tension and cast in concrete in a Prestressed application. In a Post Tension application, the strand is extruded: coated with a lubricant and covered with a plastic sheathing so it can be tensioned after being cast in concrete.

Pencil Rod

Straight wire drawn into 1’4” rounds and specified lengths. W4.9 x 20 ft (1/4”) – Available smooth and deformed wire.

Wire Rack Deck

WMC’s Wire Rack Decking products are ideal for solving all types of bulk material storage requirements. You describe the type of load and capacity of product you want to store on the deck, and we will manufacture a product that specifically meets your load requirements. Our standard finish is gray powder coat, but we can also provide a hot dipped galvanized finish if needed.

Bright Basic Wire

Bright Basic Wire BBW includes low carbon steel wire with a bright polished finish made through a cold-drawn process, thereby increasing its tensile strength.

Plating Quality Wire

Plating Quality Steel Wire produced in low carbon steel, manufactured with the highest quality standards to achieve a polish, plated and smooth surface (Surface roughness Ra 1.5μm). Great for chrome plating, powder coating, and different variations of high-quality plating. Ranging from C1005 to C1025.

Bright Basic Deformed Wire

Carbon Steel Wire with negative deformations to improve adherence to concrete. For any specific mechanical property requests, seek guidance from the WMC Engineering Department. The following are the current standards being used: ASTM A510 and ASTM A1064. Size ranging from 0.250” to 0.500”.

HDMB Wire

This product includes medium and high carbon steel wire made through a cold-drawn process. Its wire resistance is ideal for mechanical springs. Ranging from C1026 to C1080. The properties of this type of wire are discussed directly with the customer and are based on their specific needs.

Black Annealed Wire

Cold drawn low carbon steel wire which is produced through an annealing heat treatment based on a controlled nitrogen atmosphere, assuring a completely scale-free surface. This process gives the wire the characteristic of high ductility. Raging from C1005 - C1025. Diameters: .048 - .500

Spooled Box Wire

Spooled wire for bales, heat-treated and lubricated, presented in special boxes for horizontal baling machines. Tensile strength from 50 up to 62 ksi (334 to 431 N/m2)

Straight & Cut Wire

Carbon Steel wire complying with ASTM A510, straightened and cut to lengths ranging from 6” to 96” and diameters ranging from 0.062” to 0.375”.

Wire Forms

Our fabricated custom wire forms are produced using a 3D bender for low and medium carbon steel wires.

Galvanized Wire

It is a low, medium, or high carbon steel wire coated with a uniform layer of zinc that is perfectly adhered to the surface of the wire. WMC produces galvanized wire in Commercial Class (Regular), Class 1 and Class 3 (A and B).

WMC was founded in Jacksonville, Florida, in 2003 with the vision of becoming a leading domestic manufacturer of steel wire products for the construction industry. Through steady growth, strategic investments, and a strong commitment to quality and customer service, the company rapidly expanded its manufacturing footprint across the United States. As demand increased, WMC established additional facilities in Illinois, California, Texas, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania, creating a nationwide network of eight manufacturing mills strategically positioned to efficiently supply customers across regional markets. The company later relocated its headquarters to The Woodlands, Texas, further strengthening its operational capabilities and national presence. Over the years, WMC has continued investing in advanced manufacturing technology, modern production equipment, and operational efficiency to maintain its reputation for delivering high-quality domestically manufactured steel wire products.
