Our Products

Seam-Free Wire

WireTech is a leading supplier of seam and decarburization-free steel wire for the aerospace fastener industry. Utilizing state-of-the-art shaving equipment, we remove all rod surface imperfections to ensure the highest quality for critical applications. Our innovative atmosphere-controlled furnaces deliver annealed wire with a superior degree of spheroidization, protecting the material from oxygen contamination through a site-generated nitrogen atmosphere.

Drawn Wire & Bars

We offer a versatile range of drawing capabilities for diameters from .070” to .950”, maintaining tight size tolerances as low as +/-0.0005. Beyond coil products, our facility provides cold drawn and centerless ground bars in diameters between .090 and .680 inches and lengths up to 20 feet. Every order is backed by an A2LA accredited laboratory that performs rigorous mechanical, chemical, and metallographic testing to meet your exact specifications.

Custom Coatings

To ensure optimal performance in your manufacturing process, WireTech offers a comprehensive cleaning and coating line. Our facility is capable of removing 100% of mill scale and rust before applying specialized coatings tailored to your needs. Available options include Zinc Phosphate, Stearate, Copper, Lime, and Grease, all applied with precise concentration control through our environmentally friendly acid recovery systems.

Our History

On January 14th, 2002 the name on the door was changed at 6440 E. Canning Street in Los Angeles, but inside still remained the people, the experience, and the equipment of a business that has continually been providing the highest quality wire since 1973. We have become one of the nation’s leading suppliers of raw material to the fastener and related steel industries, providing ferrous wire and bars for Aerospace, Automotive, Commercial, and Industrial applications. WireTech continues the tradition of superior customer service that our people have developed over their many years in the industry and to which our customers have come to expect. Through a highly flexible manufacturing team, vendor managed inventory, and hold for release programs, our lead times can be measured in hours rather than weeks.
