Our Products

Reinforcing Steel & Fabrication

We specializes in custom rebar fabrication. We pride ourselves on being a company large enough to be capable but small enough to be personal- NO JOB IS TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL. Our IN HOUSE detailing team can send and receive engineering specifications electronically. We use the aSa estimating system and Mictrostation CAD for shop drawings to ensure accurate production and ON TIME job site delivery.

Automated Fasteners, Nails & Screws

We offer a wide range of fasteners for both commercial and residential use. We stock fasteners in bulk and DIY packaging in both brandname and generic options. WE HAVE FASTENERS FOR ALL MAJOR BRAND NAME PNEUMATIC TOOLS.

Wire Mesh

We maintain a varied selection of wire mesh product including: -5’x150’ rolls -6’x150’ rolls -wire mesh sheets in assorted gauges and wire spacing -block mesh --corners and T’s --truss and ladder --available in mill and hot dipped galvanized -burial vault mesh

Concrete Accessories

Our History

Southwestern Suppliers was founded in 1959 by Hans Koch. Mr. Koch immigrated from Germany to New York in 1949. He began his career in the cement industry before moving to Florida and working in steel. Mr. Koch was a savvy business man with an eye for development. When he decided to start his own steel business in Tampa, Florida, southwest Florida was still developing. Mr. Koch knew Tampa wouldn’t stay that way for long thus, Southwestern Suppliers Inc. was born and more 50 years later it is still family owned and operated- servicing the entire state of Florida and beyond.
