Headquartered in Conroe, the company operates one of the largest welded wire manufacturing facilities in the southern United States. As a family-owned and operated business, National Wire is committed to delivering high-quality, American-made products backed by exceptional customer service and technical expertise. The company manufactures a wide range of wire solutions, including Welded Wire Reinforcement (WWR), engineered mesh, building mesh, industrial mesh, bright basic wire, pencil rod, and black annealed wire. Our Products

Welded Wire Reinforcement

Manufactured at a higher tensile strength, Welded Wire Reinforcement (WWR) is proven to reduce the amount of steel consumption in projects requiring traditional rebar reinforcement. Not only does this reduce overall project completion time, but greatly lowers the overall cost of supplies for the customer. We’re proud to offer a number of finish options such as crimping, bending, specialty cutting, epoxy coating, and galvanizing to fully meet your project requirements.

Engineered Mesh

Our engineered welded wire reinforcement production capability allows us to offer you broad range of commercial, infrastructure and residential construction. We can produce custom lengths, bending, and crimp. Our machines can handle wires up to D31 in size. We customize to meet all specifications and customers’ needs. Our products are manufactured to the requirements specified in ASTM A1064, which is the most up-to-date specification on record. Our mesh can be utilized in most precast and or cast-in-place products such as concrete pipe, barrier mesh, slabs, beams, sound walls, box culverts, bridge rail, paving, and deck panels to name a few. Welded Wire Reinforcing (WWR) is manufactured at a higher tensile strength, it can reduce the amount of steel consumption up to 25% in traditional rebar reinforced projects, therefore lowering the overall cost to the customer. WWR has a faster placement time than rebar and can reduce overall project completion time.

Building Mesh

National Wire’s standard mesh produced meets all ASTM requirements. Whether your needs require sheets or rolls we provide a broad range of the highest quality welded wire mesh for your customers and projects. We currently manufacture and stock a variety of industry-standard welded wire fabric available in both deformed and plain wire mesh. We can provide finished products in sizes from D1.4 up to and including D31.0 with various transverse and longitudinal spacing and in lengths of 20′ or more. It is our goal to provide you with the most reliable reinforcement products to meet your needs for your field. We stock our products in several standard widths and lengths, which allows us to ship your orders upon receipt. You may request specialty cutting, epoxy-coated and hot-dipped galvanized.

Industrial Mesh

We currently manufacture and stock a variety of industry standard welded wire fabric available in both deformed and plain wire mesh. We can provide finished products in sizes from D1.4 up to and including D31.0 with various transverse and longitudinal spacing and in lengths of 20′ or more. It is our goal to provide you with the most reliable reinforcement products to ensure a successful project. We stock our products in several standard widths and lengths, which allows us to ship your orders upon receipt. You may request for a specialty cutting, epoxy-coated, or hot-dipped galvanized.

Bright Basic

National Wire LLC manufactures a wide range of carbons, tensile & grade of bright basic wire to meet your requirements and specifications. The bright basic wire we offer range from .135 to .374 diameter which grade ranges include 1006, 1008, 1010, 1012. Our bright basic wire meets or exceeds ASTM A1064 in both smooth (W) & deformed wire (D), customizing sizes, lengths and specific bundling to adapt to your needs.

Pencil Rod

Pencil Rod is another value-added product. We can also straighten & cut the wire from 48” to the length needed to ensure waste reduction and make your cost more effective. It has many construction and industrial applications because of its versatility ease of use and ready availability.

Black Annealed

Our black annealed wire meets or exceeds ASTM specifications and is very soft annealed for easy tying. We produce annealed wire that sizes ranges from 9 gauge up to 12 gauge in 100lb coils or single cute wire in 50lb coils, in a master bundle of 1,000 lbs.

Our History

National Wire LLC was founded in 1995 in Conroe, Texas, as a small welded wire manufacturing operation focused on supplying quality wire products to regional customers. Over the years, the company steadily expanded its production capabilities, product offerings, and customer base while maintaining its family-owned values and commitment to customer satisfaction. Today, National Wire operates a 75-acre manufacturing facility and has grown into one of the largest welded wire producers in the southern United States. The company serves customers nationwide with a diverse portfolio of welded wire reinforcement, engineered mesh, industrial wire products, and wire rod solutions. Through ongoing investments in manufacturing technology, quality control, and sustainable growth, National Wire continues to strengthen its position as a trusted supplier to contractors, distributors, precast manufacturers, and infrastructure projects across the country.
