Our Products

Steel Billet

The raw material of steel billet is steel scrap. After these scraps are melted in arc furnaces, they are turned into liquid steel. After melting, they are placed in ladle furnaces and alloyed to make them suitable for the desired quality. After the desired quality is reached, the steel billet is transferred to continuous casting machines. Then, it is turned into semi-finished steel billets in the desired dimensions. After this stage, it is sent to Quality Control and after approval, the steel billet is sent to rolling mills for the production of steel products. Product Features Tests and measurements are made at every stage of production. Steel billets are cast between 130 mm and 200 mm in our Kardemir Steel Plant. Steel Wire Rod

Steel wiire rod is a semi-finished product in the form of a round coil made by hot rolling. It is a product used as a raw material for products such as ssteel wire, nails, bolts, and steel mesh. Product Features Steel wire rod is used in areas such as discs and cutters of agricultural machines due to its high flexibility and durability. It is used in the production of parts that must be resistant to impact and abrasion. Steel wire rod is generally used in steel wire production, wire mesh manufacturing, nail and concrete wire, high-strength wire-spring-rope production, screw-nut and bolt production, welding wire and electrode production, and prestressed reinforced concrete wire production. Our Steel Wire Rod Production line is the longest in Turkey with a length of 120 meters/conveyor cooling platform. In this way, the mechanical properties of the product are more homogeneously produced. Steel Wire rod is packaged with an automatic band system using the horizontal press method. This packaging makes it easier to use the wire rod by opening it from both ends during use and without mixing it in the package.

Steel Reinforcement Bar

Hot rolled steel reinforcement bar is steel bars used to reinforce concrete used in construction. Steel reinforcement bar is one of the most important products among construction materials. It is also known as rebar universally. It is produced as 12 meters as standard. Special length, size and quality production is made upon request. Product Features There are many varieties of steel reinforcement bar according to world standards. Steel reinforcement bar is the most important of these varieties. Thanks to the toothed structure of the ribbed construction iron, that is, its ribbed structure, it is bonded more tightly to the concrete. Steel reinforcement bar increases the strength of the structure. It is also quite resistant to earthquakes. According to the Turkish Standard, the use of steel reinforcement bar is mandatory in reinforced concrete structures. The cooling grid of the bar production line in our company is 102 meters long and the binding is done with 3 automatic packaging machines. We are the only company in the Aegean region that prints its own company name logo as marking on steel reinforcement bar.

Steel Equal Angle Bars

Equal angle bar is used to provide connections and to make the supports of the parts stronger. It can be manufactured in many different sizes. These are products that generally undertake the task of making connections of the main carriers made of steel construction. Equal angle bar, which serves various areas of use, is produced in 2 ways, with or without radius, and in various size ranges. Product Features Equal angle bars are frequently preferred in various applications to provide structural support. Equal angle bars are especially common in construction projects. It is a high-quality product with high tensile strength and workability. Equal angle bars are used in energy transmission lines (electricity poles), machine manufacturing, decorative and ornamental applications, shelves, weight support in steel structural buildings, large and small beams, floor coverings, frames and many other places. The most important product that Kardemir produces and exports in its Izmir facility is the Equal angle bar.

Steel Flat Bars

Rectangular rolled steel bar is called steel flat bar. It can be produced as flat and hammered.. Flat bar is generally used in buildings as the main carrier. It is mostly used in the construction and automotive sectors. We produce flat bar in various sizes and lengths. Product Features The flat bar is rectangular in shape and is a durable and main carrier product. The area of ​​use of flat bar is mainly construction areas. Flat bar, known for its durability in manufacturing, is also supported parts during the manufacturing of bridges and similar structures. Apart from this, it is a product widely used in the crane sector and the automotive sector. It can also be used in both railing manufacturing and decorative products.

Steel Square Bars

Square bar is produced by hot rolling. The existing angles of these products are equal to each other and are quite durable. Another product that Kardemir produces and exports in various size ranges in its Izmir and Denizli facilities is Plain Square Bar.. Product Features Square bar is a product with maximum durability. Therefore, it is mostly used in the construction sector. Square crossbars are used in columns of various designs. This makes building structures extremely resistant to external conditions and possible natural disasters. Hammered Square Bar

Hammered Square bar is one of the products widely used in production or general assembly works. It is used in decorative works, concrete foundations, building poles in the construction sector. IPN – RSJ Profiles

IPN – RSJ Profiles are produced by hot rolling method. They are used in joining steel beams. They are produced in the desired dimensions and sizes, in the desired length and in the desired quality. UPN/UAC Profile

UPN/UAC profiles are a type of profile used in structures that have both carrier and connecting properties. Also known as U beam. It is produced in various sizes and qualities. It is generally used in agriculture and machinery manufacturing sectors. Product Features UPN/UAC profiles are used in structural steel constructions, shipbuilding, industrial structures such as bridges or power plants, as well as in agriculture and machinery manufacturing sectors.

W Profile

W Profile, WFB or Wide Flange Beams in other name, is mainly used in the construction of solar energy systems and steel buildings, W profile is also used for structural support in reinforced concrete structures. W-profiles for support systems in solar energy system constructions are processed and welded specifically for the project and can be supplied with hot dip galvanized coating in the desired layer thickness depending on the project. C profile is produced in accordance with the American standard, it is called C shape channel in ASTM norm. In some countries, it is also known as U profile in American norm. Our History
